1.Membership & billing

The Buzz Society is a paid annual membership with three tiers. Your perks apply automatically once your membership is active.

• Term: membership runs for 12 months from the date it activates (your first successful payment).
• Renewal is manual — we never auto-charge you. We email you before your term ends (about 14 days and 3 days out) so you can choose to renew for another year. If you don't renew, your membership simply ends and your member perks pause.
• Cancellation: you can cancel anytime from your account. You keep every perk through the end of the period you've already paid for. Membership fees are non-refundable, including any unused perks.
• Upgrades: you can upgrade to a higher tier at any time. The upgrade is prorated — the unused value of your current tier is credited toward the new tier's price — and a fresh 12-month term begins at the new tier.
• Downgrades: to move to a lower tier, let your current term lapse and join the lower tier, or contact support.

2.Free shipping

Free shipping is a Luminary benefit: Luminary members get 1 free-shipping order per calendar month. Shipping is 2–3 day USPS Priority for everyone; membership makes it free, not faster. (Seeker and Voyager members save through member pricing, monthly store credit, and no card-processing fee instead.)

• Free shipping is applied automatically at checkout while you have a free-shipping order remaining for the month.
• The monthly count resets on the 1st of each month and does not roll over — unused free-shipping orders don't carry into the next month.
• Orders beyond your monthly allotment ship at standard rates.
• Member drop-box orders always ship free and do not use one of your monthly free-shipping orders.

3.Member discount

Members get 5% / 8% / 10% off every order (Seeker / Voyager / Luminary), applied automatically at checkout — no code needed.

• Applies to a product's own price, including its sale price. If an item is on its regular sale, your member discount comes off the already-reduced sale price.
• Does not stack on a sitewide sale or a coupon. When a storewide promotion or a coupon is active, you get the single largest discount — your member discount, or that promotion/coupon, whichever is greater — never both combined.
• Applies to eligible products only — not the members-only drop box (already discounted) or a small number of excluded categories (e.g. vaporizers and shots).
• Calculated on your product subtotal, before tax and shipping. It applies alongside your store credit and free shipping (those are separate perks, not discounts).

4.No card processing fee

Non-members pay a $9.99 processing fee on credit/debit card orders. As an active member, that fee is waived on every card order — it simply isn't added at checkout.

5.Monthly store credit

Each membership month, store credit is deposited straight into your wallet: $5 / $10 / $15 per month by tier.

• It's deposited automatically — nothing to claim.
• Each monthly deposit expires 60 days after it lands (use-it-or-lose-it), so it's meant to be spent that month. Your wallet and member portal always show the exact expiry date of each deposit.
• Credit applies automatically at checkout and stacks with your member discount and free shipping.

6.Birthday gift credit

Every paid member gets a birthday gift as store credit: $75 (Seeker) · $100 (Voyager) · $125 (Luminary).

• Set your date of birth in your profile (at signup or in your account) so we know your birthday month.
• The credit is deposited during your birthday month and a "happy birthday" email lets you know it's waiting.
• It's good for anything in the shop and applies automatically at checkout — but it's a birthday-month treat, so it expires at the end of your birthday month. Spend it before the month ends.
• Provided once per year while your membership is active and paid.

7.Buzz Points

Every order earns Buzz Points that convert into store credit.

• Earn 1 point per $1 of product (calculated on your product subtotal after your member discount; taxes, shipping and fees don't earn points).
• Tier multipliers: Free account 1× · Seeker 1.5× · Voyager 2× · Luminary 2.5×. (A $200 Voyager order earns ~368 points after the 8% discount at 2× — worth about $7 in credit.)
• Redeem in multiples of 100 points — 100 points = $2. Convert from your member portal whenever you like.
• Points you redeem become store credit that expires 90 days after you convert it, so convert when you're ready to spend.
• Inactivity: your entire points balance expires after 12 months with no paid order. Any purchase resets the clock.
• Points have no cash value and are forfeited if your account is closed.

8.How store credit is applied

All of your credit — monthly credit, birthday credit, Buzz Points conversions, and any Prepay & Save balance — lives in one wallet and is applied automatically at checkout.

• Expiring credit is always spent first (soonest-to-expire before later, and before any never-expiring balance), so your use-it-or-lose-it credit is protected automatically.
• At checkout your order shows exactly which credit is being applied.
• Store credit has no cash value, is non-refundable and non-transferable, and can't be exchanged for cash except where required by law.

9.Member gifts (Luminary)

Luminary members receive a premium quarterly gift (up to a $150 value) — a surprise product added free to a qualifying order.

• The gift is added automatically at $0 to a qualifying order (at least $50 of paid product) placed during the quarter. It ships with that order — it isn't sent on its own.
• It's a genuine surprise: the item is selected for you and shown as a gift on your order, not by name, until it arrives.
• One gift per calendar quarter. Your portal shows the deadline to place a qualifying order for each quarter's gift.
• The birthday gift credit (Section 6) replaced the former annual gift box — there is no separate annual gift.

10.Member drops

Each month we release a limited, members-only drop box of curated favorites at member pricing.

• Available to members only, one per member per drop, in capped quantities — when a drop sells out, it's gone until the next one.
• Drops always ship free and don't use a monthly free-shipping order.
• Luminary members get first claim, 48 hours ahead of other tiers.

11.Exclusive products & early access

• Members-only products: Voyager and Luminary members can buy exclusive products and limited editions not sold to the public.
• Early access: members shop restocks and new releases before the public — 48 hours early, with Luminary getting the earliest window.

12.Free account & welcome-back offer

A free account isn't a paid membership, but new customers get a one-time 15% welcome-back offer to use on their second order (minimum spend $75, valid 60 days). Paid-tier perks — free shipping, member pricing, monthly and birthday credit, gifts and drops — require a paid membership.

13.General terms

• One membership per person/account. Perks are for the member's own personal orders and may not be resold or transferred.
• Member perks apply on mushrooms.buzz. Where a benefit is honored on a sister site, that will be noted.
• We may add, change, or discontinue perks, tiers, or pricing. Changes won't reduce the core perks of a term you've already paid for; if we make a material change, we'll let you know.
• Perks are provided in good faith for genuine members. Abuse, fraud, or attempts to game a perk (including manipulating orders to farm gifts or credit) may result in adjustment or termination of membership without refund.
• All products are 100% legal, functional mushroom and plant-derived wellness products, legal in all 50 US states. Membership doesn't change any product's terms of sale.
